First Day-check! One down, 20 more to go!

I just finished my first day of field experience. The teacher is very nice and seems like she'll be a great person to learn from. She seems to have the right balance of being a friend but still commanding respect from the students. I was invited to a staff meeting after the students had gone home. I had to introduce myself, which made me feel self-conscious and I didn't stay for the whole thing. I hope tomorrow is more comfortable.
