Hello All! So, I am excited to meet with my cooperating teacher for the first time this coming Monday. Yah, that kind of pushes it close to our actual field experience, but it is the best we can do. I can't wait to find out what we will be teaching. In the meantime, we have been packing and cleaning and doing all that wonderful stuff so we can move to Michigan. I feel like I have been all wrapped up in my heating blanket and enjoying the comfort of my "dial a number" bed, and I just don't want to leave. Utah has been so good to us, and comfortable, and yes, snuggly. But my husband assures me he has found a lovely home on a lake with a dock and 1 acre of land. All this for around $220,000. You can't get that in Utah. I have mourned leaving Utah, my great neighborhood, my home which has been in the family for over 20 years, and half of my children. But I have not finished mourning leaving my beloved UVU and the great education I was going after. Being a bit older than most, I fear I may never have the chance again to get my teaching degree, but we will see. We may be coming back in a few years, then one of you can be my cooperating teacher! Yea! That is the Lake House back yard. Do you think I could leave for this? Nah, but I could leave for this:
